Client: Harford Financial Group
Project Type: Office Building
Project Size:  7,500 SF
Completion:  1997
Our Role:  Architect: Full A/E Services
Project Description:
The Harford Financial Group is a one story 7,500 s.f. office building situated on a narrow lot in Bel Air of only .8 acres. This was a challenging piece of land with which to work.  Because we were able accommodate our client's requirements and design a building that fit the small lot, Harford Financial Group was able to locate their offices within the town’s limits as they had desired. The structure was designed to respect the scale of the surrounding buildings. The simplicity of the building is enhanced by the fact that there are no gutters or downspouts to clutter its sharp edges and flowing colonnade. Instead there are rain diverters over each entrance. It is a also accented by 16 box columns and seven dormers, one over each doorway.
