Project Description
Since this site had substantial areas of wetlands, this project demanded careful site design and building location. A holding pond was developed to supply water for site use in training exercises and grading and drainage were designed to return the water to the holding pond for reuse. Included in the design is an instructional/office building, a structural burn building, a burn pad, and a simulated flammable liquids burn pit which were outfitted with propane burn module simulators. Also included on the campus is a flammable gas burn pad, a drafting tank, and an automobile extrication area.
