The 5th District Volunteer Fire Department contains both a fire station and assembly hall, the Ten Oaks Ballroom  The fire station was designed with six drive through apparatus bays to accommodate the growing needs of the station and community.  The facility also contains a shop, hose storage, day rooms, dining area, dormitories, locker rooms, bathing areas, watch room, fitness room, library, kitchen, and an office for career personnel.  Located on the upper level of the facility are the board room, administrative areas and the Ten Oaks Ballroom large enough for 400 occupants.
